To operate with the Android “UniCarScan” must be paired. The”UniCarScan iOS” connection is only for iOS powered device from Apple – iPhone and iPad and is not supported by Android apps. To use the adapter with Apple devices, no coupling is required under Settings and is not possible. Open directly the settings of the Car Scanner or BimmerCode App and select “UniCarScan iOS” Adapter. The MotoScan app for BMW motorcycles is not available for iOS devices and is currently not planned.For the app and software developerThe developers of Apps for Android, iOS and Windows are welcome to use the adapter for their own apps. We will gladly provide the required documentation. Most commands are compatible with the ELM327 instruction set.
